Otto - German Shorthaired Pointer
Otto was having trouble getting up and wasn't as eager on his daily walks. His vet had previously diagnosed him with arthritis in multiple joints, but he was getting increasingly stiff through his back. After a thorough assessment, and permission from the vet, Alex found that Otto had tension in his left shoulder (triceps muscle) and between his shoulder blades. Alex treated the misalignments through his spine, possibly the result of compensating for the shoulder stiffness, and then used massage to alleviate the muscular tension. After a couple of days rest, Otto was getting up easily and was back to enjoying his walks.
